Trinity received her Bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Western Seminary in Sacramento. She is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a very effective technique to use with clients suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and other psychological trauma.
Trinity specializes in treating Individuals, Couples, and Families. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve a healthy view of self and God. Her primary therapeutic approach is based on Adlerian theory, as she feels strongly that the most significant problems in our life are with our personal relationships. The healthier our relationships are the more satisfying our life. In this, she also incorporates aspects of Attachment , Cognitive/Behavioral, Family Systems, and Psychodynamic theories.
Trinity also offers counseling in a small group setting of 6-8 individuals. These groups meet for 12 or more weeks as they work through a book or topic addressing a specific area in which the members of the group feel they want to develop and change. Group therapy is a powerful way to implement and sustain changes in behaviors and thought processes.
